You know, I was going to begin this post with the same old "I am sorry I have not written in so long" story, but this time, I am not going to apologize. This is my blog, and if I don't feel like writing, I am not going to write. I am not angry or anything. I just haven't felt like it.
Since my last post, a lot has happened and a lot hasn't happened. My wonderful brother, Pat, and his wife, Jana gave me the best pregnancy gift ever!
Yeah, that is what you think it is. Jelly belly jelly beans. My favourite candy of all time. I am honestly crazy over them. They gave me a 1.1 kg bag. Oh my! I am really trying to eat them in moderation, but it is so hard. Gabe and I have some every night, which makes my baby kick even more then it usually is.
We also have flown by Thanksgiving. (For all of you Americans, our thanksgiving was on October 9) We went into my brother and sister in laws house and had an awesome dinner. My nephew and niece were supposed to stay out of the whipping cream that was for the pumpkin pie, but what good auntie doesn't let her niece and nephew eat it anyway? I guess I got a little carried away.
Gabe and I put in our very first offer on a house. It was an exciting, scary feeling, even though we never got the house. It was done by private bid, which was kind of weird. It turns out we bid on $2500 under the winning bidder. $2500? Give me a break. Oh well, some things are just not meant to be, I guess.
I have to run back to work now. I will write more later when...who knows?
